Cold-Buster Citrus Green Smoothie

The perfect green smoothie to make you all better when you're under the weather! This cold-busting citrus smoothie is packed with turmeric, ginger, lemon zest, and honey to help nurse you back to health in no time!

Ingredients

  • 1 5.3 - 6 ounce container blood orange greek yogurt (I used Fage)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice + ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 oranges peeled
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cups packed baby spinach
  • ½ cup ice
  • honey optional, I used 1 tablespoon
  • protein powder optional, as needed

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a blender and process to desired consistency. Serve immediately.
