- ½ cup kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons garlic powder (preferably granulated)
- 2 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon umami seasoning
COMBINE: In a medium bowl, combine the listed ingredients. Whisk or use a spoon to evenly distribute everything.
½ cup kosher salt, 3 tablespoons garlic powder, 2 tablespoon black pepper, 2 tablespoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon umami seasoning
STORE: in an airtight container for up to 6 months. The seasoning sometimes sticks together if you don't use an airtight container, simply break up any large clumps using a fork before using.
USE: For recipes, I like to use this as a 1:1 replace for regular salt and pepper in your favorite dishes. It works great when you need to season some chicken, steak, or shrimp!
